Rob Bell has been online since the late 80s - his first computer, a Sinclair ZX80, had no Internet access - nor did the ZX Spectrum he owned next. But his first PC was the route into a whole new world - albeit "a text based world where it took you all night to download a single image or type instructions via a VT100 green-screen terminal!"

Rob's 15-years experience as a top marketer consists primarily of marketing technical products and services in such areas as Data Storage, IP Video, Mobile IP, Storage Area Networks, Electronic Security. Throughout this career he used computers as much as he could, teaching other users, and became acknowledged among his peers as the 'guy you ring when your computer plays up' - "I'm actually still that guy nearly 20 years later - the PC of today is a different animal, and the Internet doesn't resemble anything we had all those years ago, except at a protocol level! Today's Internet is fast, more user friendly, and a web presence is the must-have resource of any successful company in the 21st Century."

After an extreme sports accident (actually 2 of them) did serious damage to his vertebrae and hip, Rob was no longer able to do sports - and suffers from limited mobility, using a walking stick to get around. "Maybe it doesn't have to be a bad thing - ok so I could focus on what I've lost - a lot of my mobility, but I had fun from take-off right up until the not-so-fun landing! I wasn't very happy about it for a long time, then I recovered my focus and started to build my marketing and web design and hosting businesses - and I love working on each, I'm finally doing a job I love, working for myself helping people who want to let the power of the Internet into their business through our site designs."

Designing and running his own sites since 1999, Rob believes his position to be unique - "I'm not a web designer like most, I'm an award-winning marketer who creates online sites to fulfil business objectives - and the difference that makes is considerable.
